I"ve got a lot of catching up to do. I still haven't gotten around to posting any of the pictures from Christmas or Grandma Payne's birthday!! And I really don't have oodles of time just now, especially as my computer decided to completely die on me at last and so I had to borrow Joseph's and Joseph has homework once again. Pretty sure everyone who reads my blog has already heard about Little Elsie, and if you haven't she has her own blog which is on my list, I just wanted to get a few of the pictures that Joseph took up.
This little miracle is Elsie Linda Sagers, she was a bout 12 1/2 inches when they measured Sunday night. I wish you could see in the picture how perfect her little hands and toes are.
We went down to visit Sunday night, most of Joseph's brothers were able to be there to visit their new little niece. It is amazing how one little life can strengthen the faith of an entire extended family This little girl is hard at work building the testimonies of everyone who meets her, and she has only been on earth just a few days.
Now to another topic I don't have time to give justice. My grandma!
She just celebrated her 80th birthday! She is such an amazing woman, and I had planned to write a long tribute to all the amazing things she has taught me...but I'll have to save it for another day when I have more time. For now I'll just say that she is an amazing example of enduring to the end and unwavering faith. Because she is. Joseph's grandma just had her 94th birthday, and is an equally wonderful woman...tragically we forgot to take pictures at her party.
And here are two of my favorite pics from Grandma Payne's birthday, just because I love them.
