Fun Times

So I really aught to give up on pretending to be gown up and just embrace the child within. I'm much better at it. Last week on my day off Joseph (my boyfriend), Tory (my little sister) and I went to This is the Place Heritage Park on my day off. Yes I know, only a looser goes to work on their day off, but what can I say? I love what I do! It was a lot of fun. My little sister came up to the big city for a whole week and we got a lot of good bonding time in. It was great to spend a whole day with two of my very favorite people in the whole world. And it was even better because they get along so well!  We played on the ship that's built for children under 10, which was one of my favorite parts, rode on the train (and the mini train, again for little kids) went panning for fools gold and pretty much had an amazing day. Too bad Joseph is so far away :(....and by that i mean the town were Tory lives and the boy!

Missing Sister McNiel, sad day for me.

So I was pretending to be grown up today. I had made a list of things i needed from the grocery store, i was planning out all my lunches for the coming week and trying to be healthy. So I went off to the store for snow peas and yogurt and came home with a cheep novel from the book stand and two flavors of Ben& Jerrys. Bright red flag if I've ever seen one, the communists are coming. Kerri McNeil if you're reading this you know you've changed the way I see the world :)!!! Anyway, the point of this post is that i have once again failed at being a grown up.
